Headphone Test
Run a guided channel, extension and sweep test. Mark anything you notice and get a cautious report you can repeat on another device.

Confirm position and channel routing
Left should play only in the left earcup, right only in the right, and center should feel equally balanced.
Explore bass and treble extension
Compare nearby tones at the same level. A missing or quiet tone can come from the transducer, fit, placement, room, or your own hearing.
Listen for changes during a 20 Hz–20 kHz sweep
Mark the moment you notice an issue. The report records your observation; it does not detect faults automatically.
Your listening notes
Based only on the points you marked during the test. Repeat on another device or in another room before deciding that hardware has a problem.
Run the sweep or add a balance observation.
Fit, seal and source all matter
Weak bass can come from a poor ear-cup or ear-tip seal. Uneven treble may reflect placement around the ear. Bluetooth codecs, EQ, spatial audio and hearing differences can also change the result.
How to use the sweep
- Set a low, comfortable level before the sweep begins.
- Keep the headphones still and avoid pressing the cups inward.
- Mark a buzz, rattle, level change or imbalance as soon as you notice it.
- Repeat around the marked frequency, then compare another source device.
